Heavy machines:
Heavy machines are used for construction of buildings, roads, dams, airports, canals, highways and other projects related to infrastructural development. Heavy machines are the heavy-duty equipments, engineering vehicles, earth movers, construction equipments that are specially manufactured for doing a range of jobs in the construction sites.
Functions of Heavy Machines:
The basic functions performed by heavy machines include earth moving, carrying heavy loads, transferring loads, excavating, breaking, paving, drilling etc. Some heavy machines are also used in the manufacturing of bricks, cement, asphalt etc. Heavy machineries are primary for the construction, maintenance and the development of huge infrastructures. Accordingly, heavy construction machines comprise five equipment systems: traction, structure, implement, power train, control and information.
Types of Heavy Machines:
Depending on the functions performed, there are different types of heavy machineries used for the construction of buildings and roads:
1.Crane
2.Pipe Layers
3.Road Rollers
4.Trenchers
5.Scrapers
6.Excavators
7.Motor Graders
8.Soil Compactor
9.Tracked Carriers
10.Loaders
11.Dozers etc,..
Crane:
Tracked cranes are all terrain cranes which is mounted on track instead of wheels. The track provides mobility and stability to the crane. Tracked cranes are available in variety of sizes and with different loading and carriage capacity. These cranes are suited to every terrain including rough and geographically inhospitable regions.
Application:
Tracked cranes serves multiple purposes like :
1.Useful in building construction.
2.Helps in soil remediation job.
3.Decontamination of sludge.
4.Covering rubbish dump.
5.Raising ground.
6.Lifting heavy materials.
7.Loading of heavy industrial devices etc.
